Home is where
Hame is

Welcome to Hame! I’m Iona, Studio Manager and founder of Hame.

You’ll find me teaching classes or managing the studio, combining my love for ceramics with a passion for building a welcoming space for all.

From a young age, I have been passionate about pottery which led me to study design at Brighton University. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching at various studios, schools and college across the South East, working

closely with children as a play worker and teaching craft activities to children with diverse abilities and additional needs. â€‹

Each member of our team brings a wealth of experience in education and the arts, with backgrounds working alongside schools, families and community groups.

Throw pots, share laughs and have a natter

Hame aims to be a relaxed and informal place where people can enjoy pottery, form friendships and relax.

It's been amazing to see the friendships and support networks that have evolved over the years through pottery classes. We are as excited to see the relationships that will form at Hame alongside pottery skills being developed.
